One of our greatest supporter, philosopher Alain De Botton has started a fantastic online news source called “The Philosophers’ Mail”. It takes popular subjects/events and reflects on them “Every day, The Philosophers’ Mail starts with the stories everyone is interested in – a double suicide, Miley Cyrus, a paedophile teacher, Gwyneth Paltrow’s marriage, a fireball on the runway, but then applies its own very particular spin, in the direction of traditional philosophical interests: calm, complexity, dignity and wisdom”. It is a great way to look at popular “everyday” events in a reflective way. A great read!!!!
